Blog Spammers Are So Annoying

Writing Articles Can Be Challenging

Writing an article or a blog can be challenging at the best of times, especially if you are new to this. It takes some of us a while to get what we want to say down and out to the world for you to enjoy.

Now one thing that is really bugging me is blog spammers. Blog spammers are getting smarter everyday.

It is like an invasion of privacy, it's like someone coming into your home and writing all over your walls and going through all cupboards then leaving.

You wouldn't be to impressed with that behavior.

I have a blog that I write to promote artists, to help people in these struggling times, then someone comes along and leaves a comment like this.

"Who are these guys? Their paintings are extraordinary. I LLLOOOOOVE them a lot. I live in the United States and will like to contact them. I would like them to do a mural for my new home in Vegas! Please could you let me know how to reach them? I will also like to buy some of their art from your collection… but I will have to wait for my husband to return fro his tour.
Thanks for showing these guys to us!"

Sounds really exciting doesn't it. So you get yourself all excited, you get the artists all excited, but then you discover it's all nonsense. It is very disheartening.

Listen you blog spammers, Don't go to other peoples sites and leave comments just to get back links.

If you are genuinely interested and have something to contribute that's fair enough,

Time is precious, blog spammers are time wasters, stop wasting our time!!!

Best Wishes

I appreciate your hub. Have you had any current blog spammers? I'm fairly new to blogging and now I know what to look out for.

Hello yes I have, and it is very frustrating trying to work out wjat is legitimate and what is not.

You can flow the URL left on you post to see where it may lead you, but sometimes it is very difficult to track. make sure you have spam blocker activated on you blog also.

Thanks for your comment.

Use re-CAPTCHA. This CAPTCHA use words that have failed some of the best OCR algorithms, and you also help digitizing very old books. It would take a human spammer to spam you. The cost would outweighs the benefits for the spammer. Also if you use moderation for all the comments that made it... spams will never be published.
